Chapter 1 (1 of 3)
"It's time to wake up now, Hye Zhen"
"If not you'll be late for you apointment with Doctor Lee", says Hye Zhen's mother.
"Ok , mom!"says Hye Zhen.
Hye Zhen sit up from her bed.After she had tidied her bed, she went to brush her teeth.
"Hye Zhen, faster wake up or you want to try mom's 'rottanne'!!" Hye Zhen's mother shouted upstairs towards her.
"I'm up already mum."
"Come we need to go to the doctor as soon as possible!"
"Yes mom, coming!"
Hye Zhen then went downstairs and have her breakfast.
After Hye Zhen taken her breakfast, her mom drived her to the hospital.
~~ The Seoul Hospital~~
"Han Hye Zhen!" "It's your turn now."
"Hye Zhen, lets go in." said mom.
"Yes mom."
Hye Zhen and her mom went in and sat down at the seat inside.
"Good morning, Dr. Lee,"Hye Zhen smiled and greeted Dr. Lee.
"Good morning, Hye Zhen," Dr. Lee smiled back.
"How's your day today, Hye Zhen? Feeling better?," asked Dr. Lee kindly as he had been Hye Zhen's doctor for more than 8 years since Hye Zhen was 7 years old.
¡°Better than usual ^_^.¡± Hye Zhen answered.
"It seems that the new medicine had taken it's effect"
"Doctor Lee, will the medicine cause any side effect on her?", asked Hye Zhen's mother kindly.
"No, not at all. This will just make her feel a bit more energetic and lips will dry but it will not cause long term effects. I will continue to give you this medicine until a period of time."
"This is the medicine perscription, just pass it to the nurse at the pharmacy as usual,"chuckled Dr. Lee because Hye Zhen has been taking years of medicine from the pharmacy.
"Thank you, Dr. Lee,"said Hye Zhen and they headed towards the pharmacy.
~The Pharmacy~
"Hi, Hye Zhen" said Nurse Penny.
"Morning Nurse Penny, how are you today? As usual, I came to take the medicine."
"Here u are"
"Thank you. See you soon, Nurse Penny."
"See ya.^_^" In Nurse Penny's heart, she thought how much that Hye Zhen suffered due to her sickness for more than 10 years.Silently she prayed that Hye Zhen will life a longer life as she was a very good girl. Tears start to drop from her eyes.
Hye Zhen and her mother left the hospital and headed for lunch. They went lunching at the nearest restaurant and then headed back home.
Hye Zhen headed back to her room and lay down on her bed with yellow colour bedsheet.
"Haiii.." said Hye Zhen. She closed her eyes and started to think about what Dr. Lee said to her last month.
----"Hye Zhen, I am confident that your sickness had recovered much if u compare it when u are 7 years old only"
"I know, doctor."
"Now I need u to try this new medicine from United States, I'm sure ur sickness will improved more and u will be well again^_^."
"Ok, doctor."----
In Hye Zhen's mind, many memories flow, however there was no memories of her childhood. As she think of her childhood, she will suffer an excrutiating pain. No matter how many times she tried, but to no avail.
'I think this can help me.' thought Hye Zhen.She took out a book. the book looked quite old as if it was lefted aside for quite some time. That book was her first diary. The first date is 12 of February.She started to read to get back her childhood memories....

Chapter 1 ( 3 of 3 )^_^

Today is a Saturday, so Hye Zhen doesnt need to go to school.She woked up and had breakfast later on.She then picked up the phone and dial her best friend's house phone number.
"Hello, can I speak to Ling Xi please?,"say Hye Zhen.
"Is this Hye Zhen? Please wait for a moment^_^."
It sounds like the voice of Ling Xi's elder brother. After Hye Zhen waited for a moment or so, Hye Zhen heard her best friend's joyful and energetic voice.
"Hello, Hye Zhen right?"^_^ "Fine there?"
" Ya, I'm fine. Actually I just wanted to ask to come over my house and we can have some fun. Or over to your house." chuckled Hye Zhen.
"Why dont u come over to my house. Check out my new bought album, loved the songs. And our old songs are still new there."
"Okay, I'll come right over after I finish with the house work my mum gave me."
"Deal! Come fast, just leave the things there and your mum wonts scold u much, not like mine."
"No, I cant leave these things alone. She have much more things to do than these houseworks."
"Okay my good gurl, please dont nag me. I cant stand it, just come after your jobs are finished, okay?"
"Yes, Ling Xi''
After Hye Zhen had finished with the jobs, she walked down the lane and arrived at Ling Xi's lovely cared house by her mother. Her mother worked as a housewife, that why the house is always sparkling clean and well cared of.
"Ling Xi Ling Xi, I'm here already. Can u open the door for me?"
Hye Zhen waited for about 5 minutes and the front gate opened. It wasnt Ling Xi at the door, it was her elder brother that is older than Hye Zhen and Ling Xi for 3 years.
"Hi!! COme on in Hye Zhen. Don't stand outside, its very cold out there. Dontbe shy..."
"oh , Hii. Ling Xi's at home right?"
"Yup, but she cant leave her room for less than a minute. No idea what she's up to actually."
" Oh , i see."
Hye Zhen went in the house and Ling Xi's mother came up to me.
"Welcome Hye Zhen. Come and have a sit and make urself at home. No mind that i'm quite busy here. Where is that girl , huh?! " "LING XI!!!"
"Its okay aunty, I can take care of myself nowadays."
"Mum, I can take care of her. You just help yourself in that kitchen over there.", as Ling Xi's brother pointed towards the kitchen.
then he turn to me and said :"Wait, I call Ling Xi to come down.^_^"
He headed upstairs as I looked around the living room of her house, as usual clean and tidy.

Today, when I was walking back from school as my mom wasn't free to fetch me back home today. Suddenly, a few boy students that aged 2 years older than me came in front of me and started to push me down on the floor. I don't know what to do at first, only tears that flow down my cheeks. I was scared because I didnt know what to do. It was the first time that I was afraid... Too afriad to even stand up...
"Help, help!", I opened my mouth but no sound came out. I saw my classmate walk by me just like that, they even laughed at me as they walk. "Hey u! Give me all your pocket money now, or you will be beaten!," the two boys shouted at me. When I was too afraid to do anything, suddenly a boy that looks like same age as the two boys came to me and held out his hand. He smiled at me and said "Hold my hand and dont let go^_^". I dont know why I listened to him, but I have a feeling that he can save me. The warm from his hand calmed my heart.And I listened to his words without even realizing. The two boys saw it and pushed the boy that is holding my small hand.
"Get out of the way before you're beaten too," said one of the two boys. "Leave the girl alone or your finished,"said the boy that is holding my hand. The two boys came nearer to us and punched him at his face. "stand back, I'll finish with them," he smiled at said to me. I do as he told me to. The boy that saved me suddenly charge towards one of the boys and punched him. the two boys realized that they cannot succeed, so they ran away. Then, I realized that he was much taller than the other two boys. He came to me and use his handkachief to wipe off my tears. "Dont cry, they ran off already," he slowly wipe my tears with his handkachief. No matter how much he wiped, my tears seemed unstoppable. I had a feeling that I cant even stop my own tears. My head was full of images of my own dead.
"Can I lend your shoulder, please? T_T", I asked him. "Yes," he replied. I slowly walked to his shoulder and lean on him. It was the first time that I was so close to a guy, his warm calmed me. He use his the other arm to hold me. We stayed at that position for about 20 minutes, then I realized my tears had dried up. It stopped. I moved back a bit, and look at him. He was looking at me too, so close that I even can see the sadness of his eyes. He did not tear his vision off me. I didnt want to stay at that moment, because he's watching me so carefully so I started the conversation.
"Thank you very much. Let me introduce myself,I'm Hye Zhen. You are?" "Hi, nice to meet you too. Normally others like to call me Yu." "You're older than me, so I call you Yu Ge(brother), do you mind?" "Not at all. Let me bring you home safely first. Or else they will come back to bully you again." "Okay," I replied. Yu Ge walked me back to my house. "Actually my house is just three houses away only. If you need anything, just tell me. Don't keep it in your heart. My house number is 132, see you.^_^" "Oh okay, bye.See you." People that I know does not tell me things like that. It was the first time that a person told me not to keep my own feelings to myself.

The sound of people walking down the stairs can be clearly heard. As I look towards the stairs, I saw my best friend still in a big smile as she run down the stairs. As she was my best friend for more than 7 years, I always wished that I had the life like her, cheerful as always and the most important is she can run freely. I always wished that I had a more free life and run as much as i could before its too late. Tears drop down without a signal....
"Hye Zhen, why are u crying," asked Ling Xi.
"It's nothing. T_T" " Oh , I getting dramatic, hehe ^_^"say Hye Zhen.
Tears suddenly turned to smiles, there is something really wrong here, Ling Xi says quietly in her heart.
"Never mind , come to my room^_^. Now, now, now!! Pronto!!"says Ling Xi.
"Okay. I follow u."
The two best friends went upstairs ans turn right where Ling Xi's room is on the right. Ling Xi opened her digital sound audio connected to the speakers and then put in thier favourite cd.
"Let us sing our heart out .Yay!!" shouted Ling Xi.
"okay ^_^", says Hye Zhen.
Ling Xi turn the speaker to the 3rd loudest sound and the sound of Ling Xi's mother shouting can be heard from downstairs. "Ling Xi!!!! Turn off the speaker or put it not so loud or u will frightened Hye Zhen."
"okay , mooomm...."
"Haiz.." says Ling Xi.
"Never mind, she did that because she cares about u and me.^_^" says Hye Zhen.
